Wanted: Pipers & DrummersThe City of Adelaide Pipe Band is currently recruiting Pipers & Drummers to fill its ranks.
We are a top Grade 2 pipe band (the Premier Pipe Band in South Australia) and are looking for pipers and drummers capable of fitting straight into our band. Our repertoire includes a varied selection of contest, concert and "down the street" tunes, and no prospective member should be afraid of learning new music.
We regularly perform in public (both local and international), and compete in local, interstate, and occasionally international competition.
The band practices twice a week, on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7:30pm. During competition season additional practices may be scheduled on weekends.

The City of Adelaide Pipe Band is keen to assist any prospective band members in relocating to Adelaide.
Relocating from overseas, or even interstate can be a daunting experience and the band is willing to make that transition as easy and hassle free as possible. Whether it is help in sourcing permenant or rental accomodation in Adelaide, or in finding employment in your chosen profession. Members of the City of Adelaide pipe band are involved in a variety of fields including, Education, Engineering, Law, Medicine & Health Care, Finance, Insurance, IT, Retail, The Arts & Business. If you are looking for work in Adelaide, a contact in the industry is invaluable.
In addition to work, Adelaide is home to 3 major universities. Each offers a broad range of disciplines, and can support students in terms of accomodation. Many members of the band are, or recently were students of one of these universities.
